It is our understanding that this**<br>**message is for all people to be transformative and**<br>**enabling for individuals and communities through the**<br>**positive affirmation of life, which is the gift of God, to**<br>**all people.  In response to this belief we seek to care**<br>**for the communities in which our individual churches**<br>**exist, and beyond, offering the pastoral services of**<br>**the church through its members and ministers.  As**<br>**each individual congregation are able this may**<br>**include the offer of opportunities for worship,**<br>**connecting with the needs of the community in**<br>**providing space to meet and addressing social needs**<br>**from toddler groups to dementia cafes, supporting**<br>**local food banks and other charities which meet with**<br>**our Methodist Christian commitment to social justice**<br>**and care for the wider world.**|

involved In the administration of Circuit affairs for expenditure properly incuiied in cairying out their dubes. Apart
from the 5 ministers, the Circuit Admin15tralor no member of the Circuit Me6ting or CLT was in receipt of any
paytnent for work undertaken on behalf ol the Circuit. although certain Iravelling and aiJministration costs were

repairs, maintenance, building insuran￿. Council Tax and water charges.
From time to time the Circuit may hold residential property Ifotrnedy Man5esl wttich Is surplus to its normal staffing
requirernents Where this Is the case and it Is anticipated that the propety is unlikely to be used as a manse within
a period ol bNo years, the property is classified as investment property Iwhethei let out or not) and any lets are at
market rates unless there is a compelling reason not to do so in furtheiance of the Circuit's charitable objectives. At
31 August 2025. the Circuit held one residents.al Investrnent propety Iwylarnl.

13 Trustees for Methodist Church Purposes
The funds that support the Circuit Model Trust Fund are held by TMCP in Trustees Interest Funds on which interest
is credited lo the accounts each rnonth. These are regarded as mediurn and long terrn investments.
TMCP is the legal owner and Custodian Trustee ol all Methodist Model Trust prop8rty. Including Legacies,
Endowments. and Accumulated Funds. Trust property is held lor and on behalf of local Managing Trustee5 who
are responsible lor the day lo day management ol trust property. TMCP ensure that. through providing guidance
and acting under their direction. the Managing Trustees ctsmply with charity law and Methodist law and policy 8S
determined by the Methodist Conference.
14 Central Finance Board {CF81 and Cash at Bank
The Circuit has a current account at Barclay5 plc, an aulhorised institution. The Sums held on thi5 account ale
immediately available. In addition. the Circuit ha5 a deposit accounts at CFB, a comrnon deposit fund. Interest is
earned on the CFB account and credited monthly.. the suffls deposited can be withdrawn withoLJI notice and without
loss of interest. These sums are viewed as being liquid.
