The charity was formed to accept a legacy from Dr Victoria Sarmas Will ,who died on 19th May 2007. On 31/12 2009 the executors of the will ,Child & Child had not executed . Therefore ,there were no charity activities.In June 2011 the executors paid £123226.59 . No charity activities

To Advance The Education Of The Public By Promoting The Study And General Knowledgeof All Things Assyrian And Babylonian, By Establishing And Maintaining A Library (to Beknown As The Dr Victoria Sarmas Library) And By Providing A School Open To All Members Ofthe Public To Teach The Assyrian Language, Heritage And Culture.2. To Promote For The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of London And The Surrounding Area Theprovision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Haveneed Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement,financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In Theinterests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Saidinhabitants.3. To Further Such Other Charitable Purposes As The Trustees May From Time To Timedetermine."
