RE: Statement in lieu of accounts – insolvency
To whom this may concern,
South Central Youth Limited ceased trading in 2025 and is insolvent.
The trustees have recognised the charity’s insolvency, ceased all activities, and notified the Charity Commission under the serious incident reporting process. There are no funds or assets available to appoint a private liquidator. The trustees are awaiting compulsory liquidation via a court winding-up order, after which the Official Receiver will be appointed and will assume control of the charity’s affairs.
In these circumstances, full statutory accounts for the period ended 31 March 2025 cannot be prepared at this stage. The charity’s accounting records have been preserved and will be made available to the Official Receiver when appointed.
This statement is provided to explain why full accounts are not available and to accompany the charity’s annual return while the charity remains on the register pending liquidation.
