The members of the church have covenanted
together in part to seek earnestly to spread the
gospel of God’s grace, persuading people to
believe in Jesus Christ as their only Lord and
Saviour. In additon, they seek to put into
practce the love, compassion, etc. expected of
those who have experienced God’s saving
grace.
To that end, the following actvites, amongst
others, are undertaken: Presentatons of the
Christan faith on the church premises at
meetngs open to the general public.
Meetngs for children and young people on the
church premises. Seniors Cofee mornings on
the church premises. Lunchtme sessions and
tmetabled classes for children in local primary
schools. Provision of money and/or goods for
the relief of spiritual and physical need, e.g.
poverty and famine relief, both chronic and
acute.

the Christan faith:
Weekly morning and evening services were
held on Sunday and a weekly prayer meetng.
In additon to these usual meetngs, the church

2) Children’s and young people’s activities The church had a well-attended Holiday Club (26[th ] March – 28[th ] March) where over 40 children from the community came along. Children continue to meet for Sunday School. The church continues to reach out to children and young people through the work of ICE Wales, assemblies at Dowlais and Pant primaries, working with Hope for the Valleys each week with football at the Engine House. The church also visited Pant Primary and Dowlais Primary for a day of Sports ministry. The young people of the church have attended the monthly Youth Links. Six of the young people also attended the Good News Autumn Camp. 3) Voluntary contributions: The church received generous donations towards many good causes supported by the church, such as Romanian Ministries, Morning Star Children’s Centre (South Africa, for children with HIV/AIDS), and Christian missionary societies such as the Africa Inland Mission, the European Missionary Fellowship, London Seminary, UFM, Barnabas Fund and other local churches. 4) Community involvement A Seniors coffee morning continues to be well attended by member of the community. As in previous years, nearly two thousand copies of a coloured wall calendar were distributed to homes in the area.
