classes for children in local primary schools.
Provision of money and/or goods for the relief
of spiritual and physical need, e.g. poverty and

Weekly morning and evening services were
held on Sunday and a weekly prayer meeting.
In addition to these usual meetings, the church
held:
A monthly meeting to discuss Pilgrim’s
Progress,
Annual Welsh Night,
Bi-monthly AECW cluster meetings
A week of prayer in March.
Toddler group every Monday,
A Harvest service,
One-off events,
Preaching seminars
During 2022-23 additional members were
added to the church.
2) Children’s and young people’s activities| There are 5 main workers involved in Toddlers. Numbers have averaged 18 to 25 per week. The church had a well-attended Holiday Club (3[rd] – 6[th] April) where over 40 children from the community came along. Children continue to meet for Sunday School. The church continues to reach out to children and young people through the work of Toddlers and ICE Wales, assemblies at Dowlais and Pant primaries, working with Hope for the Valleys each week with football at the Engine House and a visit to Cyfartha High School as part of the GSUS live initiative. The church also visited Pant Primary and Dowlais Primary for a day of Sports ministry. The young people of the church have attended the monthly Youth Links. Some attended some of the Younite meetings organised by churches in Cardiff. Six of the young people attended the Good News Autumn Camp. 3) Voluntary contributions: The church received generous donations towards many good causes supported by the church, such as Romanian Ministries, Morning Star Children’s Centre (South Africa, for children with HIV/AIDS), and Christian missionary societies such as the Africa Inland Mission, the European Missionary Fellowship, London Seminary, UFM, Barnabas Fund. 4) Community involvement A Seniors coffee morning continues to be well attended by member of the community. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner's statement** I have completed my examination.
