**Objects:** THE GROUP'S AIMS ARE TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH A PHYSICAL OR LEARNING DISABILITY AND THEIR FAMILIES/CARERS TO IMPROVE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH SWIMMING, HYDROTHERAPY, SPORTS AND SOCIAL EVENTS AND TO PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP THEIR PHYSICAL ABILITIES THROUGH TRAINING AND GALAS.

**Activities:** SDSG runs a weekly swim session and other sports/social activities, for persons with a physical, sensory or learning disability and for those recovering from short-term illness or injury.  Individuals - who are encouraged to come with other family members or carers - swim to help build confidence, increase strength, and co-ordination, social interaction, and primarily, to have fun.
