In 2024 we opened a Forget Me Not Communty Café. Ihis cafe is for Feople Ilving with Dementia
and their family and carers. This ￿fé Is run by ￿￿UnteerS twi￿ w mnth. It is a safe environrnent
for people to come to for a couple of ￿Urs. to ￿jOY a lurth together and then spend g)me time In
social acbvities. This is proving to be a rKJpular Inltlative and bfds in r&lpt of a National URC
Community Award this year (2025).
We continue to explore opportunity for MIS￿1 and are engaging with the URC initiative- through a
missional lens to look at our outreath and community volunteerlng.
Addltionallyi ￿derS have attendoj various foNms and retreats organlsed by the Yo￿5h¥re sync￿ of
the URC and found them benefiaal as they and other (Dngregation rnernb￿ k￿k at Servi￿ in the
community.
e are also a wide range of athtty gn)ups whith are run by thurth rr￿terS and friends, These
groups indude R(£0 (Amateur Dramatics) , &Nlminton, Table Tennis, Indcfft Bowls, First Friday Films,
PA))k aub, Singing Group. PJI thtse grouF6 W￿de optthinities to buitd conr￿￿On$ within the
church and the community.
We are also fortunate to be able to provth to Un[f0m￿l tynisations - Glrl Guid1r￿ and
sC￿ts through prov[s￿n of r￿m5 at vay tow cc6L

In 2024 we ap￿)inted a Flnancial Adrnini5trator . This is a part -time role whi(h is part funded
by Yorkshire Synod Mission Capaoty FurKI. Funding for this roie a)ntinLES until 2027.

In 2025 the Impatt of the substantial a)sts of gas and dectr￿ty o)ntlnuql to be felt.
total cost of utilities (tdephone, water, gas and e*tric) was £42,282 (£42,505 in 2024).
Substantial repairs to the flat roof on our build1r￿ ha5 been completed during 2025 at a cost
of over £270,000. This was pr&Jominantly fijnded fr(Kn ￿ sale of an Investment propty.

At 31 December 2025, the Charity had reseprfes at the bank of £240,305 Net Current Assets
