TRUSTEE5 RESPONSIBILITIES The Charity Act 1993 requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the charitws financial activities during the year and of its financial position at the end of the year. In preparing these finantial statements. the trustees are required to= 11 Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently. 21 Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent. 31 Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation. The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 1993. GOVERNING DOCUMEMrs THE Charity is constituted by a Deed of Trust and registered with The Charity Commission. FINANCIAL REVIEW The year under review saw a significant reduction of unrestricted income which totally erased our positive reseNe balance. Major planned activities were also affected in the year under review. The board of Trustees have tasked the Accountants to speed up Gift Aid reclaim process to help supplement traditional sources of income. We have decided to appoint Apex SeNces as our Accountsnts.
