very well run for 8 rt￿lber of years, havw¢9 bullt up a surplus to cover salaries and cosls in the event it negds to

ol the team and the cara they offer to Ihe children.

There is a popular gr¢up ¢alled "Seekers. s8¥ving adults with 18arning diffjcuknes which meet regularly. Seek•rs
provides SUPPOrt and discipltship to about 25 adults. It is run by volunteèrs with many years. experiènce In LlealiThg
with adults with leaming difficultias. They meet wegularty for social events and organise annual holidays and trips
out. They also aim to contributs to our ragular worship ￿rIng the yèar. They are an integral part d ihe thrch famity
and bring a lot ol joy to the wider membership, Thi$ gr¢)up ol peoplè Is not really specikally catèred for in many
tsthor ehurcfes, so wè 8r8 pleased b be able to prowde a spiritual home for th&m offering support
encour89ement.

othgr, their farniligs. h'ends and acquaint8nc8s via WhatsApp.
The church runs groups for youny people weekty during term timo. ￿ catar lor agès trom 5 to 16 divided into 2
groups that me¢ts on Tuesdays. The groups provKJe sge appropriate 8ctivitlgs including craft and games anil each
5e33ion includes a Bible study. We were also able 19 5tsrt ? new group for young peopl& Junior Vibrship Band. This

Trustees, inelu¢Jing the Secretary and the Treasufef. who together with the Ministèrlsl, are collectwely known as the
Diaconate.They are responsible for thè day to day running ol the church s work and witness and the financial and
legal aspects ol the charity. All members arÈ èncouraged to lake an appropnate part In the spiritU81 and practical
tssks involved in the fvrtheranee ¢f the Gharitable objective.
Trustee5 are elected at thg AGM of the Chuieh. Th8 T￿a¥￿Trr aThJ Secretary afè appointed annual￿. and DeacoTrs

minister and Children and Famity WoFk¢r decide if and by how much their annual remuneration should in¢￿ase by

The Children & Family Worker was élècted as trustee before th8 Children & F•nI￿ Wother post bècame vacant.

running tha charity. As a chuTch we adopt BU policies on all rnatter5 such as GOPR. Employrnent, Safer
Recruitment and Safeguarding. This 91￿u￿S we are adopting best practice
OutSOU¢C4ng 15 limitsd to payroll functsons wharé wa do not have the resource or expertise in hwse to manage this
aspect. We also outsourcg m?nagernent of aur rental property to a professional letti￿ agent.
The Baptist Union Corporation is noted above as a Iwste?. Th¢y hold b.ue to the church buildings- as they do for
many Baptist chur¢he$ in the UK. They have no role In the nJnnin9 of the church but are there in the 8venl the
charity ceases to exist. In that event they would 5t8p in and oversee ¢l¢surg of thè church and di8￿>S8[ of assets.
They would also be invofved if tha church decided to $911 any ol its properties.
