The current Ele¢￿￿1 Rou was completed in March 2019, when there were 3(Kl parishioners of whom 30 were non-
r¢$id¢nL The latest figures to hand show there are cunently 284 Fwishirners on the electornl rolL 32 of whom are not
resident withtn the Parish. The next revision of the Ekctoral Roll will be co[llplet￿ in 2025. The averdge usual
Sunday attendan￿ duritjg 2024 at St Mary's atyj its daU8b￿ chuTch¢4 was 177 adults. (Th¢ of children varies
substantially depending on the s¢rvice). Numbers are COllSAderably iDcreas•J at festivals. Some services cixllitiue to be
livestreamed on You TuTrK.
Two faculty applications wwe submillal in 2024. to Teplact the li￿ting in the ¢hwth and one to recast the cracked
bell.
Buildings Deyelopment and Capltsl Projects
The detsiled design fiK upgrading the bghtillg in the Cburch w&5 approv￿ by the PCC in Seplunl*r 8Dd the faculty
application was submitted in November and recotnmended by DAC for apF￿val in December. The tenderprocess forthe
installation was staned ID Cktober and the fu￿1 selettion of the prefe￿e0 contractsr bas beth reduced to two from folr
bids submitted. It is bot%d that the work will commence law this year.
Financial Review
The balance 5h¢¢t for 411 fimd5 5how3 an incra5e of £C(M)8 from £885,gW to £967.912 41 th¢ end of 2024. Excluding
unrtalised gains on investsnents of £2,726, the net increase for the year w&8 £79282. This in￿¢&5¢ is mainly due to the
Gift Day which rdised £57,389 for th¢ I1￿[￿g proj¢cl and is held in the Fabric Fund. The Fabric Fund also benefitted
fiDm 3 legaries amouniing to £37.717. Exrluding unrealised gains on invesmients and &pTeciatioTI. thc 5urplu5 (m the
Generdl fijnd amounttd to £14,790 in 2024. At its meeting on I I September 2024, the ￿e designated £IOO,000 of the
Fabric Fund for the Nortb Aisle R(K>f & ￿l￿4u¢ll￿1al Work aDd £84.(*KI of the General Fund reserves for kt)own futur¢

Th¢ r¢valuation of investments at 31 tkomber 2024 resuhed in an uATeali￿ gain of Q726 (2023: £10234). Fixed
&55ets were depreciated by £10,887 (21)23: £10.887). A ryovision for fees of £lW) (20J9 .. £1,8￿) has beffl in¢hKled in
Contributions towards the Parish Shar¢ fr(An ￿ James Sewarth Fnd arml Si John's Little Walden amounted ￿ £4.050
(2023.. £3,813) and £3245 (2023.. £3,056) respethiv¢ly.
