we have had not the best start of the year we have to rehome some of our rescued animals to
other sanctuaries due to the loss of land as the owner had passed away they where rehomed to
sanctuaries which the same values as ours. We have taken in many wild birds which were all have
been released back into the wild. We have also lost some of our older sheep which is a sad loss.
we have also further improved the animal housing fencing and continued to care for the animals in
our care. we have had many volunteers offering there help over the year from an hour a week to
bein8 Wlth us for the a day evey week
The sanctuary has just 10 regular volunteers.
The main source of funding is our charity shop in Rubery, Birmingham, manned totally by
volunteers to fund the work of the sanctuary. We are enormously proud of them giving up their
time to help the animals. Unlike the other local charity shops which are run by paid managers.
We also would like to thank the hands on volunteers who help with the daily care of the
5heep,pig5,goat5 horses and donkey5 and assorted poultry at the sanctuary.
