  1. WDWF'S governing document is its Constitution The governing body of the Charity is the Management Committee, which cornprises of trwstee members. All members of the Management Cornmittee retire together at the end of the Annual General Meeting but are legally entitled to be T￿leCt￿l or re- appointed. The Committee receives regular rewrts on all aspects of WDWPS work and meets fornially at least three times a year. A General Puryjoses su￿ Committee meeting is called at any time to consider urgent matters of business. The tnain responsibility of the Management Committee is to forn]ulate WDWFS business and strategic plans along wxth the annual budget and regular financial moniloring. Inlernal Controls The Trustees have overall responsibility for ensuring that WDWF has an appropriat¢ system of controls and also responsible for ensuring that the fimds belonging to the Chority are applied only ID furth¢rin8 th¢ obj¢ctives of WDWF. During the y&qr, the Management Committee have received regular financial and management reports from the Co-ordinator and an annual r¢vi¢w of WDWPS policies and procedures. AIMS & OBJECTIVES Objectives Wimbledon District Woodcraft Folk is a Cowoperative children and young people's movement. We run education groups in Merton and West Sussex where young people of all ages meet to play garnes, rnake friends and learn about big ideas from climate change to social justice through co￿perativ¢ activiti¢5. Th¢ objects of the organisation are the advancement of education and the empowennent of children and young people for the public ben¢fit by: . encouraging children and young people to participate in society, improving their liv¢5 and oth¢rs through ￿tive citiz£nship> and pronioting the int¢rests and welfare of children and young people.

GENERAL PERFORMANCE Kry Aetivities Opening of the Go London Activilies group. Participating in Th¢ Adv¢ntures Away From Home Sch¢m¢. Wimbledon Woodcraft Folk offered a week]y programme of social education for about 125 local children and young people in Merton. Wimbledon Woodcraft Folk organi8ed 24 nights of camping and residential activities. During tern] time we provided a safe friendly environment for people to meet on Monday* Wednesday and Thursday evenings Go! London We organised sportin8 activities. including the climbing wall and numing a group on Friday evenings. This is aimed at reaching the 13- to 18-year- olds who find it ditTicult to join the mainskn clubs. Camping Campin8 is our most important activity. Camping is a symbolic expression of living co-operatively. At camp all young people are equal. Young people from all backgrounds eal live. play and work together. 3-dAy May Ballk Holiday Camp at LuryA$haU. This camp was organised and run jointly with the groups from Colliers Wood Woodcraft Folk. It w&s great to see 15-to l-year-olds act as role models for the younger ones, encouraging Cooking skills setting up games in the woods and being consistently positive and enthusiastic. 5-d8y Summer Camp •t LurggsbAII. This camp was planned by the yo￿8 people at the previous May Bank holiday camp. We were delighted to reeeive a small wup from Refyees to join us at our camp. One of the main highlights of the camp was a Bushcraft activities.

Th¢ L¢adu's Award was given to Charlotte Boylan. Paul Kervellffj Max Woodley. Addtson Lapham, Otto Kingley? Irene Peel, Sophi¢ Bailey. Paul Kervella Reason for award: Paul is an active membcr of our ￿nIor group? who offers weekly 8SSiStance at the junior club and especially likes supervising the climbing wall. He has particip&t¢d in several resid¢ntials and been part of the organising team for a recent camping trip. He also finds tim¢ to parti¢ipate in the DofE Gold MAX Woodky Reason for award: is an active member of our senior group, who offer8 weekly assistance at the junior club and especially likes supervising the games sessions. He h&8 participated in a numb¢r of residentials and been part of the organising team for a recent camping trip. He also finds time to participate in the DofE Gold Award. Addison Lapham Reason for award: Addison is a regular participant at Wimbledon Woodcraft where she always works well in her team and loves to winl She is also a k¢¢n sportswoman. comp¢ting r¢guIarly in both swinuning and gymnastics. Not only this. but Addison love5 to dance and h&s perfornied a tap rouline in an Alice in

Wonderland show. On top of thi4 Addison loves helping others and raising money for charity. She recently completed a 2.5K swimathon &8 well as selling home-m pink lemonade. in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care! Reason for award: Otto is an enthusiastic and committed member of the group. He loves playing table tennis and encouraging other members to play. At the Spring Bank holiday camp. Otto took on a role &% a Tcam ttadcr. ￿]ng responsiblc for th¢ preparation of foo Irene Peel R￿on for award: Irene has been a leading member of our working group on the fomMtion of a new Friday Club aimed at young people who are excluded or bullied because of their differences. (Be Yourself Club) s￿ bas recenljy designed a new rninbow badge and fft for the projecL She also setup an Insta8ram page. She has attended two residentials in the p&8t year. Sopbie Bailry Reason for award: Sophie finds it difficult to attend the group regularly due to her cw¢ activities, with regards to a family siblin8. She is a ￿ul#r attendee at outdoor resId￿tialS where she has played an active part as a team member. She enjoys dancin8 and is keen on f￿hlon. Charlotte Boyhn- i*ader¥ Award Charlotte h&8 bccn a lif¢-lon8 n￿rnb￿. receiving her achievers award as a teenager and then progressing within the club to bc a youn8 l¢ader. In the recent past she has lead a delegation to an inl¢rnational camp. Charlotte is a very popular leader and running weekly sessions durin8 tern) time.

Voluntary Help A considerable amount of time is expended on the charity's actNittes which is donated free of charge. It is not possible to quanffji the value of time given and accordingly it is neither recorded as donated income not as an expense in the accounts.
