Closing bank ststement provided. Opening and dosing figures agreed. 2. The only mis-analysis was to do with camping equipment bought for the Oaks in Chamwood c*mp in 2025. This has been c0￿Cted on the attached sheet. All other items appear consistent with previous years unless for good reason. 3. Receipts provided and sample chosen all agree to spreadsheet. 4. Grants from Youth Fun Days and from the Fop•vard Five fund have been received in order to refurbish the toilet block. The male toilets have been finished. The eX￿sS of grantsldonations sts'll available is to refurbish the female tollets. Work on this is due to be done during the summer break. All receipts connected with work done to date have been seen and agree to spreadsheet figures. ## **Group Lead Volunteers Report 2026** Over the past year Scou�ng in Mountsorrel has gone through some upheavals on the adult side. With the ever changing commitments on adult helpers of work & family. The group is in need of adult volunteers to help run the sec�ons, especially Beavers & Scouts. the leaders are now Team members working together to allow a more flexible approach, giving adult volunteers who have �me restric�ons, but s�ll wish to par�cipate, the flexibility to give their �me when they can. This means that with more leaders available, parental support and occasional helpers we can do more for the young people. At present we are using parent rotas to help the leadership team, If as a parent helper you feel you could add more to the Scou�ng experience, why not join us, The commitment does not need to be every week or even in the sec�on your child is a member of. But specifically tailored to suit you. For example, you enjoy a par�cular ac�vity e.g. cooking, as a volunteer you could commit to those ac�vi�es. Rather than being rostered on an ac�vity do not enjoy. Also, your input would shape the planning of ac�vi�es for the sec�on. **Squirrels.** Caroline & her team con�nue to run our thriving Squirrel Dray becoming the leading Drey of the district, giving a young person a start to their Scou�ng journey. **Beavers.** With Amy & her Beaver team, the colony are having an exci�ng �me. **The Cubs.** Karl & Carol have kept the Cubs busy throughout year with exci�ng ac�vi�es and learning lots of new skills. **The Scouts** Having with a change of leadership last year we are sad that we are now back in the posi�on of looking for a new leadership team. As Gareth has had to finish as leader due to work commitments and Atul with his change of jobs cannot be there every week. The leaders from other sec�ons are covering for the present. But this can only be un�l the end of the summer term. Within the Group, this is the sec�on that needs addi�onal adult input moving forward, enabling the sec�on to do more. We hope to s�ll provide exci�ng opportuni�es for the young people and them make their mark. If you think you can give up some �me & would like to pass on your knowledge & experience to a group of exci�ng young people. Please come & talk to us. them the group simply would not exist. So, a big thanks from all the young people. Please if you can spare a bit of your valuable �me to & would like to help, either directly with the young people or on the Trustees board.
