NOTES TO THE 2023 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
1. The financial statements have been prepared in accorrlance wth the Church Accounting
Regulations 2006 together wth applicable aG￿untIng standards and the Charities Ad 2011.
General funds represent the funds of the PCC that a￿ not subject to any ￿$triCtIonS regarding
their us& and are available for application for the general purposes of the PCC. Funds
designated for a particular purpose by the PCC are also unrestricted
Restricted funds are those that must be spent on restricted purposes. and details of the
restrictions are provided in notes 9, 10.
The financial statements include all transactions, assets and liabilities for whi¢h the PCC is
responsible in law.
Incomlng Resources
Voluntary income and capltal source8
Collections are recognised then retsived by or on behalf of the PCC.
Planned giving receivable under Gift Aid is recognised only then received.
Tax re¢XJverable on Gift Aid donations is recx¢gni5ed ￿en the donation is recognised.
Grants and legacies to the PCC are accounted for as soon as the PCC is notified of its legal
entitlement, the amount due is quantifiable and its ultimate re￿Ipt by the PCC is reasonably
certain.
Funds raised by the various fund-raising events are accounted for gross, but after deduction of
sums alk*caled to other organisalions in th8 c2se of joint fund raising entèrprises such as Ifilla9e
Fetes.

Dividends and Inte￿$t entitlements are accounted for when paid.

Realised gains or losses are recognised when inveslmenls are sold.
