Activities
The Trust provides grants to organisations and other charities which are involved in the things outlined in its objects. The Trustees meet at least twice a year to discuss grants and the progress of the Trust's investments. They review the beneficiaries of the grants during these meetings.
Objects: 1. To Advance In Life And Help Young People Through:a) The Provision Of Recreational And Leisure Timeactivities Provided In The Interest Of Socialwelfare, Designed To Improve Their Conditionsof Lifeb) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Theirskills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enablethem To Participate In Society As Mature Andresponsible Individuals.2. To Help Young People, Especially But Not Exclusivelythrough Leisure Time Activities, So As To Developtheir Capabilities That They May Grow To Fullmaturity As Individuals And Members Of Society.3. To Act As A Resource For Young People Up To The Ageof 18 Living In Surrey By Providing Advice Andassistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical,educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:advancing In Life And Helping Young People Bydeveloping Their Skills, Capacities Andcapabilities To Enable Them To Participate Insociety As Independent, Mature And Responsibleindividuals;advancing Education;relieving Unemployment;providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activityin The Interests Of Social Welfare For Peopleliving In The Area Of Benefit Who Have Need Byreason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.
