The Charity’s objects (the Objects) are:For the benefit of the public to promote the rehabilitation and resettlement of, and to relieve financial hardship, distress, suffering and sickness amongst, offenders, persons subject to community orders, and their families and dependents, either alone or in co-operation with any other body, authority or persons, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of support, information, advocacy and pastoral care in ways which are consistent with, and motivated by, the values and principles of the Christian faith based on the life and example of Christ; and promoting an environment where people of all faiths, and people of none, can work together for transformation of lives and communities.

**Activities:** COMMUNITY CHAPLAINCY WORKS WITH PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS AND OF NONE.  IT SEEKS TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL, EMPOWERING AND AFFIRMING SUPPORT FOR PRISONERS AND EX-PRISONERS BOTH PRIOR TO DISCHARGE AND ON RELEASE, IN ORDER THAT THEY MAY SUCCESSFULLY RE-INTEGRATE INTO THE COMMUNITY, REALISE THEIR POTENTIAL AND NOT RETURN TO PRISON.
