The directors present their report and accounts for the period ending 31[ST] December 2021 

The Financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out on pages 7 and 8 and comply with the statement of recommended practice (SORP2005), and the applicable law. Principal activities 

The company’s activities during the year continued to be the advancement of basic education, humanitarian relief of poverty worldwide, advancement of Christian faith, counselling, fellowship and reaching out to the community to provide social inclusion to those at risk. 

To achieve these objectives, the foundation was involved in Christian Outreach conferences and Christian Seminars, crusades and such other activities designed to increase Christian awareness and spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

## Development activities and achievements in the year 

We have been in continuous partnership with Fareshare and Neighborly to collect surplus food from Marks and Spencer, Lidl, and Tesco to give out food to those in need within our locality and South London. During the Covid 19 pandemic lockdown we distributed food worth £50,000+ to those in need. We have established Christian missions outreach to several countries in Africa, America and Canada have taken place to propagate the gospel. 

We continued our religious activities and supporting the less privileged and sourcing funds to help alleviate poverty. We had religious activities through conferences and seminars and provided training requirements for them. We also established advancement of Christian Faith to relief persons who are in hardship, the aged, the sick and relief distress among the members. We also provided for the homeless in the community. 

A Television studio is now on site to aid the airing of our services to millions of viewers worldwide. 

## Risk Policy 

The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the foundation is exposed, particularly those relating to the operation and finance and are satisfied with the risk management systems in the place to mitigate any risk exposure. To this end regular visits are made to the various locations in which our projects are being undertaken. 

We also have our members who are residents in Australia, America and Africa who report regularly on the projects that we have there for proper monitoring and control. 

## Future Developments 

Jesus Power House Ministries will continue to focus its activities to meet the objectives of the Charity. We plan to provide a community gospel choir to reach local community and beyond making available recording studios and video recording equipment, youths willing to learn how to use these equipment. We plan to have monthly open sessions for the aged pensioners in the area, homework clubs, crèche facilities of computer training classes. Soup kitchens, career advice center and music training. 

We will provide medical and health check facilities for the people. Relief of poverty and overseas aid famine relief and other religous activities. 

Reaching out to more thousands of people via our televangelism. 

## Review of Financial Position 

The gross income for the year amounted to £478,189 a reduction of 20,205 from previous year due to lockdown restrictions that saw our premises closed for some weeks. All of these have been allotted to Unrestricted Reserve and no funds is allotted to restricted projects. For our projects to help orphans, widows, poverty alleviation activities to provide, food, humanitarian needs, water, shelter, hospital equipment, medical supplies and medicines to support humanitarian needs. Political donations 

During the year, the company made a political contribution of nil. 

Small company special provisions 

The report of the directors has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions of Part V11 of the Companies Act 1985 relating to small companies.

## STATEMENT OF THE TRUSTEES RESPONSIBILITIES 

The Charities Act requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of surplus or deficit of the charity for the period. In preparing the financial statement, the trustees are required to: 

a) Select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently; b) Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; c) State whether applicable accounting standards and statements of recommended practice have been followed, subject to any departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements; 

d) Prepare the financial statements on the outgoing concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in business. 

The trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charity Acts 1993. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity, hence taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities

## INDEPENDENT EXAMINERS REPORT 

To the directors of Jesus Power House Ministries 

We report on the financial statements of the Charity for the year ended 31[st] December 2021, which are set out below, and notes to the financial statements on Page 7 to 9 

## Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner 

As described on the balance sheet you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts for the year ended 31[st] December 2021, and you consider that the company is exempt from an audit under section 43(2)9A of the Charity Act 1993 and that independent examination is required It is our responsibility to: examine the account (under section 43 of the Act); 

to follow the procedures laid down in the General directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 43(7) (b) of the act; and to state whether particular matters have come to our attention. 

## Basis of Independent Examiner’s Report 

Our examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes review of the accounting records kept by the trustees and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently we do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts. 

## Independent Examiner’s Statement 

In accordance with the examination, no matter has come to our attention: 

- 1) which gives us reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements and to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the Act; to prepare accounts which agree with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the Act have not been met or 

- 2) to which, in our opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

## Notes to the accounts

## 1. Accounting policies 

The accounts have been prepared under historical cost convention and in accordance with the financial Reporting Standard for Smaller Entities (effective March 2000) 

## Turnover 

Turnover represents the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of value added tax and trade discounts. 

## Stocks 

Stock is valued at the lower cost and net reliable value. 

## Deferred taxation 

Provision is made for deferred taxation using the liability method to take account of timing differences between the incidence of income and expenditure for taxation and accounting purposes, except to the extent that a liability to taxation is unlikely to crystallize. 

## Foreign currencies 

Transactions in foreign currencies are recorded at the rate ruling at the date of the transaction. Monetary assets and liabilities denominated in foreign currencies are translated at the rate of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. All differences are taken to the profit and loss account. 

## Leasing and hire purchase commitments 

Assets held under finance leases and hire purchase contracts, which are those where substantially all the risks and rewards of ownership of the asset have passed to the company, are capitalized in the balance sheet and depreciated over their useful lives. 

The interest element of the rental obligations is charged to the profit and loss account over the period of the lease and represents a constant proportion of the balance of capital repayments outstanding. 

Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to income on straight line basis over the lease term. 

## Pensions 

The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions are charges to the profit and loss account as they become payable in accordance with rules of the scheme.

## 1.4 Value Added Tax (VAT) 

Value Added Tax is not recoverable by the Charity and as such not included in the relevant cost in the statement of Financial Activities. 

## 1.5 Resources Expended 

Resources expended are included in the statement of financial activities on accruals basis. Certain costs have been apportioned between Direct Charitable Expenditure and management and administration on basis consistent with issues of those resources. 

## 1.6 Funds Accounting 

Funds held by the Charity are: 

Unrestricted General Funds-comprising Funds which can be used in accordance with the charitable objects at the discretion of the Trustees. 

Restricted funds-0 which are raised for particular restricted purpose can only be for those particular restricted purposes within the objects of the Charity.
