transformiNg the way we work with client5 to better Set the Ènvirtsnment for them to flourish in thew pregnaney
and motherhood journeys.
We continve to provide compassionatè care, prDfession31 support and tounselling to assist women atKI their
fomilse5 facing an unplanned pregnancy. W& 8re an associate member of the Briiish Association for Counselling
and psychotherapy, a helpline partnership member and a member of the Baby loss awareness alliance.

The deficlt for the year on Unrestricted Funds, whlch relate to non-houslng activitie5. was1£594.6111. Charitsble
expenditure was £3.524.624 and incurred on education, Caring and corporate activities (see notes 8 & 9 in the
accounts).
The net deficit for the year on Restricted Funds was1£81,2421 comprssing totsl incoming resources of £297.313
and total resources ÈxpetFditure was £332,685.
Note 23 of the accounts contains an analysts of the incoming and outgoing resources reldtins to Rtstricted Fund5,
which relate io ￿fe Housing. Balall￿ sheet Totsl fund5 dec¥eased from £1,596,990 to £921.137 reflecting the net
deficit.
Cash at Bank, on Deposit and in H8&d on 31 March 2024 decreased from £1,181.703 to £684,357.
Reserves poli¢y
It is the policy of the chèrtrty that unrÈstritted funds which have not been desi8nated for a specffic use should be
malntatned at a level equivalent to between three and six month's expenditu￿. The trustees consider that
reserves at this lÈvÉl wsll ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they will be able to cotTtinue the
charity's current activsties while consideration is given to ways in which additional funds may be raised. Thls level

The Charty's Memorèndum of Association authorises the Trustees to deposit or invest funds, to employ

31 Marth 2023. The compararrive figures induded in the financial statements included a 9 rnonth period and
so are not directly comparable with the C￿r￿nt period. rhe current period includes a 12 month period to 31

At the time of approv4ng the financial statements. the trustees have a reasonable e)rpettation that the
charity has adequate resources to continue in operational exisrence for the foreseeable future. Thus the
trustees continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparin8 the financial statements.
