The principal objective is to promote the use of places of worship in the provision of facilities, in the interests of social welfare, with the aim of improving the condition of life of residents in Cumbria. Main activities of the organisation are: provision of website, consultancy, training, and advice to those involved in looking after places of worship in Cumbria.
Objects: 3.1 To Provide Or Promote The Use Of Churches And Places Of Worship Incumbria In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare Forrecreation Or Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving Theconditions Of Life Of Residents In Cumbria Without Distinction Of Sex,sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or. Other Opinions.3.2 The Advancement Of Religion And Preservation And Conservation Ofchurches And Places Of Worship For The Public Benefit Of The People Ofcumbria And The Nation By:3.2.1 The Promotion Of The Conservation, Repair, Maintenance,improvement, Upkeep, Beautification And Reconstruction Ofchurches And Places Of Worship In Cumbria And Of Monuments,fittings, Fixtures, Stained Glass, Furniture, Ornaments, Organs, Bellsand Chattels In Such Churches And Places Of Worship And Of Thechurchyard And Grounds Belonging To Any Such Churches Andplaces Of Worship;3.2.2 The Provision Of Training And Education Concerning The Conservation, Maintenance And Management Of Churches And Places Of Worship.
