Activities

Furniture Helpline is a community reuse charity. We collect good quality donated furniture, household and white goods and provide them free or at low cost to people in need, on low incomes, in crisis and the general public.Wherever possible we repair, refurbish and recycle. FHL welcomes people to join the team and offers active, interesting and skilled work for volunteers and trainees.

Objects: 1 The Relief Of Financial Hardship, Either Generally Or Individually By Making Grants Of Money Or Providing Or Paying For Items, Services Or Facilities.2 The Conservation And Protection Of The Environment For The Public Benefit In Particular But Not Exclusively Through Re-Cycling Furniture, Appliances And Other Household Items.3 The Relief Of Unemployment For The Benefit Of The Public In Such Ways As May Be Though Fit, Including Assistance To Find Employment.4 The Furtherance Of Such Other Charitable Purposes As The Trustees May From Time To Time Determine.
