In Aug 2023 we transferred £40k from the Buildings Deposit Account into the Epworths Cash Plus Account. We earnt £2,245 interest on this account in 2024.

Current & Business Deposit Accounts The 'Current Account' and 'Buildings Deposit Account' are our two main accounts i.e. the main accounts that we use. Our current account shows a balance of £2,221 for 2024. Our Buildings Account shows a deficit of £5,490 for 2024.

More detail on the Buildings Account Expenditure is shown below shown below. We continue to spend to keep the building water-tight and also for surveys as we progress towards our ‘HEART for Hillingdon’ project.

Summary Notes and Thanks

Like many churches, we are paying a lower figure for our Common Fund contribution than we should be.

Thank you everybody for all you do to give generously to the work of God and His kingdom. We are stewards of the resources God has given to us individually, and as a church. We need to continue to be generous as God’s anointed body. We need to increase our giving as we journey in faith towards fulfilling God's vision for us.

Report to the trustees/ St.John’s Church Hillingdon members of On accounts for the year 31 December 2024 Charity no 1128058 ended (if any) Set out on page 1-2

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 December 2024.

• Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

Independent examiner's statement

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:

• accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act or

• the accounts do not accord with the accounting records

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
