As the charity's trustees of the Company (who are also the directors of the
company for the purposes of company law), you are responsible for the
preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the
Companies Act 2006 rthe 2006 ACV).
Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the Company are not required
to be audited for this year under Part 16 of the 2006 Acl and are eligible
for independent examination, I report in respect of my examinalion ol your
charity's accounts as carried out under section 145 01 the Charities Act
2011 {'the 2011 Acr}. In carrying out my examination. I have lollowed the
Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145151{b) of
the 2011 Act.

My examination was carried out in accordance with General Direclions
given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a Teview of
the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented w￿th those records. It also includes consideration of
any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking
explanations from the trustees Con￿rning any such matters. The
procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be
required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion
The compantys grt)ss income exceeded £250.000 and l am qualified to
undertake the examination by being a qualified member of the Association
of Accounting Technicians.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that..

Cramlington Voluntary Youth Projed rcvYp°I was eslablk8hed in 199) by 3 trustees who alongside
the Probation Service, Northumberland County Council and Btyth Valley Borough Council assisted
with the construction and operatKIn￿lSaIion of a centre in Cramlington.
Review of activities and performance:
In terms of numbers CVYP has never been trNJsier. growth and developmenl i8 al a very high level.
The main centre is based in Cramlington Village. but CVYP is also delivering in 2 outreach centres.
The mobile pop up has developed signigficanlty in 2024. now providing Bus4us a fully 8quiped
mobile unit largetting the estates and all the hotspots. CVYP also delivers al Chirdon Head
ExpeditionlResidential centre, providing a beswke outdoor experience all year.
The work at CVYP remains focused on offering a range of opportunities than can further the social
and personal development of young people. including a number of accredited schemes and awards.
We provide a safe and friendly venue to accommodate the chaThJing needs of young people of
drffering ages and abiif(ies.
Children and young people utilising our services indude young carers and young people in care,
young volunleers. young people with a range of disabilities arKI referrals from muttiple targeted
services. Including young offenders and those at risk of oflending.
CVYP engages wr(h over 3(K) children and young people every week, well over 1000 diferent
children and young people each year.
Risks, Reserves and Investment$
The trustees have assessed Ihe major risks Ihal the charty faces. and confimed thal system5 have
been established to enable regular reports to be prcxduced so that necessary sleps can be laken to
lessen the risks.
Trustees. Responsibilities in relation to Financial Statements
Charity Law requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which
comply wth the regulations set in the Charities Act 1993.
Matters pertalnlng to the Companles Act 2006
For the year ended 31 March 2024 the company was entr(led to exemplion from audit
under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006. The memb8rs have not required Ihe
company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of Ihe Companies Acl 2006.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilty for complw'ng with the requirements of the
Act with respect to the accounling records and for the preparalion of accounts.
