To provide lief to the poor and needy or other charitable purposes Para 1.17 atmj 1.19 We applied and received over £79.000 in grants to support our community project which is primarily for those escaping domestic abuse. facing poverty and refugees housed in our area. We also held fundraising events. Our Club members regularly attend the local foodbank, and we have close connections with the local social services. health professionals. schools and other local charities in order to deliver essential items whether new or pre-loved to families in need. We collecl pack and deltver Christmas sacks containing toys and food for families who would othervise have nothing. We also collect and deliver Easter Eggs for children who would not otherwise receive one. Twice a year we hold a free Tea Dancé for those attending local organisations supporting mental health and learning disabilities. In December our members attended street collections and a local superniarket to collect funds and food to support our projects in the local community. A charity golf day was held to provide a donation to Sage House a local dementia hub giving support to those with dementia and their families.
We held our annual Qutz Nightwhlch this yearwas in aid of The Ripple Effect helping communities in Africa to become self-sufficient and other international charities. Our members attend street collections at times of world disasters such as floods. earthquakes, etc in order to send donations to UK charities sending emergency relief abroad. such as ShelterboL We held a fundraising evening to raise funds for End Polio Now. a Rotary Intemational supported cause to eradicato Polio the world over. Whether it be supporting street collections, sorting and providing pre- loved donations for those escaping domestic violence, delivering Christmas sacks, Easter eggs or helping at various fundraising events with baking and making items to sell. Achievernents and Perfonnance The Trust has four main committees: Community, International. Youth and FoundationlFundraising. Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the cirCumstanS of its beneficiafies and any wider benefits to society as a whole. Para 1.20 Community: During 2024-25 we supported over 2400 adults and 4900 children with essential items such as clothing. shoes, bedding, beds, small furniture and in some cases white goods Those items enable the beneficiaries to feel better about themselves and regain a feeling of self-worth especially where children are involved. We also gave out Christmas sacks and Easter eggs to those who would otherwise have received nothing. Intematlonal: When money is collected for International causes, wo distribute it via international charity outlets based in Ihe UK. This includes: Shelterbox who provide shelter and essentials to communities across the world who suffer disasters such as flood and earthquakes. etc. Another charity that we support is Lend with Care. This charity distributes small loans to entrepreneurs in developing countries enabling them to start up a small business and become self- sufficienL The loan is repaid when they are able and then used for another ontrepfeneur. We supported The Rlpple Effect which empowers families in rural Africa to learn more. grow more and sell more transfomiing their lives while protecting their environmenL We supported a noighbouring Rotsry Club who ran a project to buy and deliver water barrels in Africa. These barrels negate the need for women and children to cary water on their heads and free up time for the children to attend school. We have also donated to Kids for Kids; Care Int UK Gaza. African Adventure.

Foundation and Fundraising: This committee organised the Golf Day to support a local charity supporting dementia sufferers and their families. A fundraising eventng was held to raise funds to support in Rotary International in their work to eradicate Polio the world over. The December street collections collect funds for us to enable us to carry out our aims to provide relief to the poor and needy and other charitable causes. The Club currently has in excess of 45 members and is a self0verned body operating in accordance with the rules and constitution of Rotsry International and Rota of Great Britain and Ireland.
