AL-FAIZ TRUST ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2024 ## **AL-FAIZ TRUST PROJECTED FINANCIL STATEMENTS YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2024** ## **TRUSTEES REPORT** The trustees present their report and the projected financial statements for the year ended 31[st] March 2024 - Chairman (Unpaid) Mr Muhammad Sajjad Yousaf Rizvi - Trustee (Unpaid) Fazal Hanan - Trustee (Unpaid) Mrs Halima Sadia ## **Principal Activity** The principal activity of the trust is to benefit the poor and disadvantaged people in the rural areas in term of meeting their education helping the community by providing them basic facilities, establishing small hospitals where doctors and health programs are not available and work for disabled people. ## **Trustees Responsibilities** The charities acts require the board of trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the situation of the charity as at the end of the financial year and of the surplus of deficit of the charity. In preparing those financial statements the board is required to: - Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently. - Make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent and prepare the financial - Statements on going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the - Charity will continue in business - State whether applicable accounting standards and statements of recommended practice - Have been followed, subject to any material departures and explained in financial statements. The trustees are also responsible for maintaining adequate accounting records which disclose with reasonable transactions and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with regulations. The Trustees are also responsible for the contents of the trustees’ report. Accounting policies basis** The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with: - Accounting by Charities - Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP 2005) - and with financial reporting standards for Smaller Enterprises (FRSSE) - and with the Charities Act 2011 The Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) 1127776 was registered on 30[th] August 2013, to take forward the work of the Unincorporated Association registered number 265351. Assets, liabilities and funds of the two charities are combined.
