Administrative details The Rotary Club of Chippenham Trusl Fund ('the Fund,) is a Charity registered with The Charity Commi55ion under number 1127775 The registered address is Rotary Hall, Station Hill, Chippenham, Wiltshire The trustees on the date of this report were Michael Stone, Henry Miles and Keith Suny Other organisations relevant to the Club are: a) The Rotary Club of Chippenham b) Rolary Intemational in Great Britain and Ireland c) Natwest Bank, High Street, Chippenham- Fund banker5 d) Metro Bank, London- Fund bankers e) Chippenham Rotary Company Limited fj Chippenham Rotary and Inner Wheel Trust Limited 2. Structure and Governance The Fund is an unincorporated association, its goveming document being a Trust Deed dated 19 March 2007. The trustees att appoinled by the members of the Club. All trustees give their time voluntarily and received no remuneration or other benefits. 3. Financial Policy It is the Trustees. policy to hold only a small reserve balance for emergency situations. 4 Objeetives The Objectives of the Fund are to apply both the capital and income for general charitable purposes. with consideration for the general objects of Rotary, as the club shall from time to time direct. The Club keeps in mind the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit when considering which causes to support. 5 Aehievements in the Year As the Accounts reveal, income for the year totalled £29,669 and after meeting direct expenses of £10,951, led to a surplus of £18,718. During the year £2,603 was spent on Overheads and £19.827 was paid over as Donations to good Causes. leading to an excess of expenditure over income of £3,712. On behalf of ustees Hmiles......... As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the Accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 2011. ('Xhe Act") report in respect of my examination of the Tn￿t'S Accounts carried out under 5e¢tion 145 of the 201 l Act and in carrying out my examination. I have followed the applicable Direclions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. I have completed my examination. I confirni that no material matters have come to my attentton in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in. any material respect: Accounting records were noi kept in accordance with section 130 of the Act; or the Accounts do not accord with the accounting records. I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the Accounts to be reached. Incoming resources Incoming resources are reported gr05S. Donations Donations are accounted for when the funds are received and paid. Costs of fundraising The ¢05ts of organising each of the fundraising events are reflected as Expenses alongside the Income received for each event on an event by event basis. Unrestricted funds Other than the small residue from a Ivell boring project. there are no restrictions on the use of fiLnds held at the Balance Sheet date. Fund raising ei'ents are sometimes designated to a Specific charity as well as to RotaTI' charitable funds in g¢n¢ral, but those fund5 are paid over promptly.
