Parochlal Church Council of Thundersley
Treasurerf5 Report for the year ended 31° December 2025.
These accounts have been examined by the PCC appointed Independent
Exarniner, Mr Graham Dorrin8ton, and his report is attached herewlth. Due to
our turnover, under the Charltie5 A¢ these accounts are able to be
fonmulated on a Recelpts and Payments ba515. The General Fund deals wlth the
runnin8 of both churches and both church halls and the Parish office.
Our halls are fvlly open. Some small group users have been unable to continue
hiring the halls due to falling members, probably due to the Cost of Living
issues that everyone is facin8. Fuel bllls continue to tske up a large proportion
of expenditure. Heatln& li8htin& insuring and maSntsinin8 our 2 churches.
both halls, the Parish Office, John Pond Room and St Michael's Community
Room are a major part of our expendlture as shown in the enclosed General
Fund Income & Expendlture figures.
The Parish Share requested Sum of £51045 has been pald in full. Thi5 lower
sum is as a result of the Parlsh no longer havin8 a full time minister.
In accordance with requirements, our historlcal bequest Trust Funds under
£10,000 have been closed and the proceeds allocated to the appropriate Fabric
Fund in accordance wlth the ori8lnal terms of the relevant Instructlons.
Durln8 the year, an extremely generous anonymous donation of £50,000 was
gratefully recelved for St Peterfs Church.
On behalf of the PCC, I wish to thank everyone for their generoslty in giving
financial support to the Parish, for everyone's fundraising efforts, our Hall
Lettings Officers and for all the hard work which goes on behind the scenes.
Wlth God's help, working together to serve Him, the Community and one
another, we can grow and thrive.
Worshippers can glve by cash donations, card payments via the terminals In
both churches or Direct to bank. Cheques are still gratefully received.
Don't for8et to use the Glft Aid Scheme for your donations if approprlate...iYs
free money from the Governmentl!
Please ask for details.
