Several other clergy. and l am confident that tl would be hard to find a parish
in England which paid greater attenlion to Ihis important p(xt of church life. Fr
Chades h05 Started several new leaming groups this yecy. which have been
well-attended often by younger parents. and have led to much spirituol
growth. Revd Olive has started a spwilual direction course. and has continued
her ministry to the high street. The number of clergy we have has meanl that
we are able to offer cover lo other th￿CheS on a fairly regular basis. and this
is much-apprecialed by those less wellvresoLffced Ihan ourselves. l am hugely
gratehJl to all the team. many of whom (re volunleer5 arKI give of their time

A signtficant amount of my yetr was spent co-ordinoting Ihe CM5t Church
Heritage Lottery Project and il was extremety satisfying lo see many people
laround ￿ in totall v¢)￿nteering to take part irb the preparation for this very
large and iniliolly dthjnting t05k. AElhough we hove yet to be succe55ful in our

We held o giving compoign at Ihe end of October and it has been good lo

All the General Fund donalions that were gtFI oided enabled Ihe PCC to
reclaim £22296 from HMRC for 2024. We have been aided by Ihe ruse which
enables us to claim Gift Aid on co5h collections up to a maximum of £8.CX)J for
each church in ony one financial year. Gift Aid continues to be a critical part

In 2024. we were fortunate lo receive a nvmbel of specific donolic)ns which

The Friends hosted a number of fund-rar5ing events dvring 2024 which raised a

Over the year5. the parish has been fortunate to be Ihe beneficiary of o
