with the second school of the project nearly complete by July 2025. The delivery of this
school was delayed due to a second. and the most severe drought in the Amazonian
recorded history, cutting the communitie5 off. We have successfully raised an additional
£8,000 through donations, further securing the necessary funds for continued progress. In
response to the unprecedented drought affertin8 communities across the Amazon, ACT
secured funding to initiate emergency support for those most impacted,
Incorporating a volunteer intern. enhancin8 the organization's marketing and social media
presence, and enabling a wider reach for its projects and initiatives.
Regarding Public Relations and Marketing activities, 2024-2025 was marked by two
important events: on 14 October 2024, Acr hosted a lunch at 42 Berkeley Square to bring
together universities interested in discussing potential partnership5 in the Amazon. Despite
low attendance due to a busy schedule during the period, we hosted 12 people from
unlversltles IUCL, Imperial College, Uppsala Univer51ty), NGOS (Biodiversity International),
and the government.
In December 2024. ACT trustees Robert Pasley-Tyler and Emanuela Evan8elista attended the
Conference of the Parties 29 (COP29) in Dubai to strengthen and expand Acfs network of
partners. In preparation for COP30 in November 2025 in the Brazilian Amazon, the first half
of 2025 was marked by connectin8 Wlth old and new partners that would be key to plannin8
our participation at COP30. This Included Act staff in Brazil and London organizin8 several
I:1 meetings and participatin8 in events, including London Climate Action Week (LCAWI. We
were invited to join a Ministeria14evel roundtable at Kew Gardens wlth the Brazilian
Minister of Environment. Marina Silva. and the Brazilian Minister of Indigenous Peoples

Independent Examinerfs Report to The Trustees
I report on the accouns of the Trust for the period ended 31 Juty 2025, which are set out on
pages4to 11.
Respectlv8 responslbllltles of trustees and examiner
The charitys trustees consider that an audit is not required for this period under the
Charities Act 2011 Ihe Act, and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to..
. examine the accounts under the Act;
. to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity
Commission under the Act; and
• to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of the Independent examlnevs report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity
Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the Charty
and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of
any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that
would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view
given by the accounts.
Independent examlnefs statement
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come to my
attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material r8sp8Ct:
' accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act or
. the accounts do not accord with th¢)se records; or
• the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content
of accounts set out in the Chanties (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any
requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part
of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination
to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understsnding of the
accounts to be reached.
