Activities
ACTAsia's education programmes promote kindness and compassion for animals, people and the environment among Asian societies. This holistic approach initiates gradual and sustainable change and improvement in the treatment of animals. Our UN awarded education programmes work across three sectors of society including Children, Consumers and Professionals.
Objects: 3.1 To Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Humans, Animal And The Environment By:3.1.1 Providing Education Programmes For Schools, Universities And Communities Relevant To Humans, Animals And The Environment To Encourage Principles Of Compassion & Empathy; Care And Respect; Animal Sentience; Civic Responsibility; And3.1.2 Providing Appropriate Care, Protection, Treatment And Security For Animals Which Are In Need Of Care And Attention By Reason Of Sickness, Maltreatment, Poor Circumstances Or Ill Usage; And3.1.3 Educating The Public On Matters Pertaining To Human, Animal And Environment Welfare, Including The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals; And3.1.4 Providing Advice, Assistance, Training And Support To Members Of The Public And/or Organisations Who Require Such Advice, Assistance, Training And Support In Connection With Human, Animal And Environmental Welfare And/or Cruelty Issues And;3.1.5 Undertaking Research Into Matters Pertaining To Human, Animal And Environmental Welfare.
