In the 2024125 financiai year, apart from administT*'ve costs of £123 and bank charges for intemational money transfers. all the remainder was spent within South Sudan and UgaThJa. The principal Work of the charity was: 1. Supporting the work of the M8rtha Primary Heatth Care Cerrtre (PHCC) in Yei. South Sudan. 2. Paying for cataract operatic￿$ for over 100 patients carried out by a team of eye spe(aalists from Juba. 3. Continuing to fund discipleship training for Christlan youths in sebEral DI0￿SeS in South Sudan. 4. Paying the fees (rf 20 teachers lo tran at the Yei Teacher Training Cdlege to study for the Certfficate or Diploma in Education. S. Section D Achievements and performance This year the chanty c%)nlinued to Pfovide major support to the Di¢xese of Martha Primary Health Care Centre and Eye Clinic, and this constituled approximately 50% of our expenditure. The dinic treated more than 30.000 pats'ents. The Eye Clinic treated a gr(wing number of patients trt)th in the dinic and in the communty. In March, a team from Juba tsnied <Krt over 100 su(xessful cataract operations. We continue to wyk in ck)se partnership with the Episcopal Church of South Sudgn and provided funds for discipleship training courses as well as for the training of dergy and lay leadets. We continued to support theological training at the Bishop Allison Thedogical College. During the financial year. we re￿iVed several grants frorn UK charities. charttable trusts. and churches and many gtfts from individuals. We are grateful for this generous support. Our total income for the year was £130.243. which was an inrJe88e of 11% on the previous year {£116,657 in 2023124). Our expenditure increased by 2% 10 £128.935 {£126.670 in 2023124).
