the year.
l. The COVtD-19 pandemic h&$ Continued to have an in]pact this ye￿. with a lockdown
commenciiio 23 Marth 2020 1"ollowed by severe ￿$triCtionS on movements and m¢elings.
? The Church Council, comprising all Bedhampton Methodirt Church members, met during the
year. In additioL an Annual Cyeneral Meeting w&8 h¢ld. open to all. An immense amount or
other woik is ulldertaken by Church Council m¢n]ber£ Stewards and otlws in addition to their
attendance at these meetings.
3. Appointments were made by Church Council. in line with MethcKlist Church policy.
4. Tlie Church Council directed the cotnpletion of a iisk analysis as part of trustee responsibilities.
This was followed by a specific risk ass¢ssment ¢OVCTing COVID-19 return to use of premises.

decrease ol- £2841 over the year. In additson, L164 was held by internal organisations
reporting to thc ¢hur¢h council. this represents a decrease af i.n98. Both reductions iii
fimds held are directly attrTbutsble to COVtD-19 restrictiOTL8.

The governing bodv of Bcdbampton Methodist Church is the Church Council, reporting to the
Circuit Council. The authority under which the Church Council acts is given by the M¢thodist
Church Act 1976.
BedhamptoTh Methodist Church is a registCTed charity. 1127598. Voting memius of the
Church Council are the Trustees of the Charity, together with the appointed MÈnisters of East
Solent and DOWDS CircuiL
The Church Council consists of the Church memlThhip, and is responsible, as Tn￿tee$. for
Ov￿$¢¢ill8 th¢ financial $th￿rnents and accepting the examined Standard forni of Accounts.
