Para 1.20 | Most of our face-to-face activities were suspended for much of the year, owing to the covid19 pandemic The church provided weekly worship via Zoom. Pastoral care and visiting for the members and friends was restricted and only possible within Government guidelines. The following activities took place during the year: • The ‘In Touch’ Pastoral Scheme continues to offer pastoral support to members and adherents throughout the year although this was achieved mainly by email and telephone call. • Shirley Neighbourhood Care which has its office on our premises was able to remain functioning. • Our support for TWAM (Tools with a Mission) continued, enabling tools and equipment to be donated and put to good use in the world’s poorer communities. |
• Donations were made to Christian Aid, and also to NCH Action for Children. Ad hoc collections were also taken for troubled parts of the world.

Part of the balance, whilst not actually restricted, has been kept aside for building improvements.
