Church Of God IRCCG) CITY OF PRAISE (The charttyl for the Year ended 30 June 2022. The Trustees
confirm that the Annual Report and the Finandal Statements of the Charity comply with the current
statutory requirements of the CharitVs governing documents and the provlsions of the Ststement of
Recommended Prartice1SORP} "Accounting and Reportin8 by Charitie< issued in March 2(KJ5
The charlty also trades under the name CITY OF PRAISE
srATUS: The Charity was constttuted under a Trust Deed dated ISI July 2(M)8 and is re815tered in
England and Wales wlth Charlty number 1127435.

of the Trust Deed.

Trustees meet regularly to manage its affalrs. The Parish pastor manages the day to dav

REIATED PARTY RELATIONSHIPS: RCCG fCITYOFPR4ISE) Is a Parfsh of the Redeemed Chrfstlan
Church of God (which has parishes all overthe world). The parlsh's relationship with other parlshes
Is governed by an "A8reement of Common Purposes"
POST COVID-19 RECOVERY: The Trustees are delighted to see a rdpid recovery from the
consequen￿5 of COVID-19 pandemlc. Thls has reflerted in both physlcal attendance at seThices as
well as donations. Despite ￿tUrn to nornial physical serlices, the Churth ha5 continued to improve
on its onllne broadcasts.
OWECTS AND ACTNMES.. The principal objectls the advancement of the Christian falth worldwlde
and the rellef of poverty. To promote any charltsble actlvity for the benefit of the local people. To

GRANT MAKING POUCY: The Churth supports vlsitln8 minlsters of the gospel both wlthln and
outslde the United Klngdom. Support is also given to RCCG Central Office, World Evangelism
Mlssion, Festival of knfe and other RCCG programmes. The Church supports other charitles and
mlssionary that shares its objects In athiancement of Chrlstian falth and rellef of poverty. The Church
also give occaslonal grants to congregational members who are In need.
VOLUNTEER5: The Church Is grateful to the unfllnchlng efft)rts of Its volunteers who are involved In
providing services for the Charity. It is estimated that over 2,420 hours a￿ provided by volunteer5
durlng the year. If thls is conservatively valued at £9.50 per hour. the volunteerfs effort wlll amount
to £22,990.
REVIEW OF ACTMTIES: The Church continue to enjoy trefflendous growth in its Physical and Spiritual
Ilfe durlng the year, and in the advan￿ment of Christian falth in accordan￿ wlth the doctrlnes set out
In the Statement of Falth as contalned In our Trust Deed. Following the COVID-19 Imposed lockdown
In mld-march, 2022, the Church has been conductbng Its artlvlties vlrtually. We strongly believe that
the rapid response of the Churth to ensure continuou5 touch with the Community through the WORD
and essentlal food supplles has pald off significantly. We have invested into BroadcastSn8 Equlpment
and Technology as well as other Safety materials to achieve this.
INVESTMEIIT POUCY: The twstees have declded that at present. fund5 should be retslned In Banks
and Buildlng Societiès and as far as possible in interest bearing accounts.
FUNDING AND REBATES: Fundln8 ha5 been provided mainty throu8h fithes and Offerin8s by Church
members ènd through Glft Ald. Donations a￿ also accepted for special programmes and projects.
During the year, the Charity reoived a total of £9.744 in external funding. £5.544 from Sath>rd aty
Councll/HAF to support HolldoyArtfvldes Proje¢ and £4200 from HMRC as Ernployerfs National
Insurance Contribution rebate.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENf: The Charity continues to explore various ways of spreading the gospel of
Christ in an effective manner. The Charity is also looking to grow in membership and continue to
develop its members to make life<han8ing impatt in soaety.
