**Objects:** A)  TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION, REHABILITATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE RIVERS, STREAMS, WATER COURSES AND WATER IMPOUNDMENTS IN THE COUNTRY OF CARMARTHENSHIRE AND IN THE COUNTIES OF CEREDIGION, PEMBROKESHIRE, POWYS AND GLAMORGAN, AND ADJACENT AREAS OF THEIR BANKS, RIPARIAN LANDS AND CATCHMENT AREAS IN ALL THEIR ASPECTS.B)  TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, REHABILITATION AND PROTECTION OF THE INDIGENOUS SPECIES OF ANIMAL AND PLANT LIFE OF THE RIVERS, STREAMS, WATER COURSES AND WATER IMPOUNDMENTS IN THE COUNTY OF CARMARTHENSHIRE AND IN THE COUNTIES OF CEREDIGION, PEMBROKESHIRE, POWYS AND GLAMORGAN, AND ADJACENT AREAS OF THEIR BANKS, RIPARIAN LANDS AND CATCHMENT AREAS AND THEREBY ENHANCE THE COUNTY BIODIVERSITY.C)  TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF AQUATIC HABITATS, THEIR RELATED CATCHMENT AREAS AND THEIR ANIMAL AND PLANT LIFE AND THE NEED FOR THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND REHABILITATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF SUCH ENVIRONMENTS.

**Activities:** The overall aim of this project is to restore access to spawning areas, protect river habitat and improve water quality for migratory and resident fish in Carmarthenshire. This is encapsulated in the mission statement of The Carmarthenshire Rivers Trust: ÔÇ£To restore the rivers and wetlands of Carmarthenshire to their former gloryÔÇØ.
