## **Name of Ministries:**

The name of the Church shall be known as the Salvation and Deliverance Ministry Apostolic International (hereinafter referred to as “the Church”).

## **Constitution & Objectives:**

Our aim is to advance the Christian religion in accordance with the articles of faith for the public benefit.

## **Structure Governance & Management**

We are governed by the Salvation & Deliverance Ministries Apostolic International constitution and articles of faith.

Recruitment and appointment of new trustees is done by annual voting of church members.

## **Achievements**

The year 2022 was met with great anticipation, as some form of normality was seen by the physical attendance by the return of people having the confidence coming back into the sanctuary.

A number of our congregation verbally expressed that they took the vaccine some because of work purposes and others because of health reasons and so therefore being in a group and amongst others for a long period gave them the confidence to be in the service.

The new normal has seen our church Salvation & Deliverance embrace change and has and is adapting to social media i.e, Zoom as well as in persons attendance and this will no doubt be the way forward for the foreseeable future. It is envisaged, that we may even extend our social media coverage to Facebook Live but we will need to have the right personnel for this and so for now we look to master Zoom.

## **Achievements (continued)**

In January 2022, a new Women’s President was appointed for our Women’s Department and the plan was for the position to be reviewed after a year. The Women’s Department provided space for the women to come together to discuss matters that have affected them as well as to emphasise the importance of Evangelizing within the community.

In August 2022 we were able to resume our yearly church outing and this year we went to Clactonon-Sea with 36 people including children attended.

Convocation 2022 saw the return of our theme “It’s Your Time It’s Your Season – Part 2” which on this occasion enabled us to join forces with another ministry to double the strength of the ministry by working together to achieve a successful Convocation. This meant that we were able to form a choir, brought in some skilful musicians and we witnessed some individuals displaying their God-given talent in tailoring, catering and dancing for the glory of our God. Convocation 2022 was well attended by our network partners because it was well planned and well executed by the planning team.

## **Children & Young People Ministry**

During 2021, we saw that our Sunday School dwindled in numbers and those that remained took some time to resume back into some form of routine.

## **Outreach**

Our Food Bank Distribution continued during the year 2022. However, more distribution on a doorto-door level was being administered.

## **Overseas**

In the year 2022, we were able to be of financial assistance to ministries overseas. Once again, in particular to countries such as Kenya where we continue to partner in the gospel and to extend love to support them in their building, and school projects

It has been encouraging to get regular pictures, videos and monthly meetings via Zoom to see the progress that they have been and continue to make going forward.

## **INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF SALVATION AND DELIVERANCE MINISTRY APOSTOLIC INTERNATIONAL**

## **FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2022**

I report on the accounts of Salvation and Deliverance Ministry Apostolic International for the year ended 31 December 2022, which comprise the Receipts and Payments Account and Statement of Assets and Liabilities set out on pages 6 and 7.

## **Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner**

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to:

- examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act;

- to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act; and

- to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

## **Basis of independent examiner’s report**

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and the seeking of explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and, consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

## **Independent examiner’s statement**

In connection with my examination no material matters have come to my attention which give me cause to believe that, in any material respect:

- the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or

- the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or

- the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and contents of accounts set out in the Charities (accounts and reports) Regulations 2008, other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view, which is not a matter considered as part of the independent examination.

I have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
