The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under s43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:

To follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under s43(7)(b) of the Act), and

To state whether particular matters have come to my attention

Basis of Independent Examiner’s report

My examination was carried out in accordance with General Directions given by the Charity Commission. My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. !t also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accountsand seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts - | present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matter set out in the statement | below.

The Trustees have recognized that the options for using-the first:«. :- floor have been limited by the need for refurbishment and re-structure of the internal space. An application was made to the Sperring Trust for help with thewaentrefurbishment.toms mE. , ty ore fy. ‘ U , Achievements and Performance etreectsCEM VEOHi OF 7 ee In order to.increase outreach possibilities and to enable more use to be made of the[first][floor] for the benefit of the church and the wider community the Trustees and members have. approved a program of refurbishment. To this end: ‘ (a) The gas boiler has been replaced which benefits the whole of the building (b) The central pews have been removed from the Church and the entrance has been re-~ configured it ; (c) A toilet has been installed on the first floor (d) A kitchenette has been installed on the first floor ns re The refurbishment is ongoing with the next stage being to install vinyl flooring where the pews _ have been removed and also to replace the carpet in the porch and partially replace the carpet _ in the church area. The Church has set up a Friends’ Group to encourage people who are not members and who do. not regularly attend worship to be involved with the Church. This is in its infancy but it is hoped that it can be developed further going forward.

A service was held at Christmas with:Tirisbury Childcare Group and the Group also contributed donations of food at the[Harvest][ Festival] 9... __ ya ta el eye Mission and Evangelism cece cae ye Helping those in need is a demonstration of our faith and during the year donations were made to Christian Aid - £110, DEC Ukraine £200 and Crisis at Christmas £100. The Church is also a a collection point for Food bank donations and donations were made regularly throughoutthe year. All tinned food donations at Harvest Festival were passed to the local Food bank. Financial Review ees Cash in hand at the start of the year amounted to £21,874. Total receipts during the year Were £25,772.
