In this financial period the following
activities have been undertaken:

Funds have been raised through a
variety of means – one large
fundraising event, individual
donations

The Trustees decided to continue
support to Zambian based charity –
Project Luangwa Trust. Funds have
been used to support identified
students commence & complete
university education – we have
three students on a rolling basis,
currently two have recently
completed their nursing degrees
and one is undertaking a medical
degree. In addition the trust has
supported younger pupils at local
schools in the area via provision of
electronic learning support. During
this financial year the trust also
decided to support youth
development locally via Warrington
Youth Zone

Para 1.20 Funds were raised during the year via main
fundraising activity – Thelstock. A large
summer BBQ for 200 people with raffle &
auction to raise funds and an awareness of
the situation in Zambia, where the charity
has focused it’s support over the years. In
addition, the trust has this year now
expanded support to the youth in
Warrington. This is via support of
Warrington Youth Zone, which exits to
support young people’s development, with
opportunities to gain, increase & develop
skills. Additional funds were raised via
donations. During the year ££9,300 was
transferred to Zambia to support the
education of children & young adults &
£5,500 to Warrington Youth Zone.
