of Association which established the objects and powers of the charitablc company and is governed

theii duties under ihe Charities Act 2011 by providing high quality cducation to pre-school children.

We currcntly hav¢ 27 childien on the Tegister t01311ing 386.5 hours per iveek. Children can attend a
range of session5 to best suit thcir n¢¢ds. W¢ are open 5 days a week from $..30-14..30 during terni time,
providing funded early years educ&tion for 24 y¢ar-old children. Sin¢e the start vf the new dcad¢mic
5'¢8r, Mc have succes.sfully grown the number of children attending thc pre-school by 92Q/o.
During sessions, we support the child's leaming and development using the 7 area5 Wlthin the EYFS
Statutory ftamewoik. These aieas forni the basis of our daily activities, but w'e also actively encourage
children's individual interests and are highly responsive to their individual needs.
Followin¥ our most rcccnl Ofsted insp¢ctioH in 2024. we have receivcd a 'Good' raring in all categories.
The administrative errors which resulted in an 'lnadcquatc' rating during the previoiis inspection have
beei) addressed, with Ofsted satisfied that we haiie met the previou5 a¢tiolls r8i5¢d.
During the reccnt period of high inflation ratcs aiid econoinic unc¢rtainty, we are proud to h2ve kcpt
QUF fee struciure as affordable as possible to help to support financial pressure5 felt by famili¢s. A small
fee illcrease ivas introduced in April to cover increased minimum ivage paynients to Stal'l., howei'er this
is lower than other childcprc proN'iders ill tl)e area, allowing us lo reniain financially acccssible. Our
financial occ¢ssibility is furih¢red by our successful implementation of the latest changes 10 the
goN'emment childcare offer.

The trustees actively rei'iew. the major risk6 which the charity faces on a regular basis. This review
includes financial, op¢rational and business risks. The trustees have established systems to mitigate
significant risks.
Going Concern
The trustees are confident that the organisation has suificient resourc¢s for th¢ n¢kt tw'¢lv¢ months and
on Iliat basis the accounts have been prepared on thc going conc¢ni basis. Tli¢ polili¢al and ¢conomi
situation P051 Covid did adversely impact the nuinber of children attending thc prc-school, how¢v¢r the
number of children on the rcgisier has returned to a healthy level and has becn maintaincd inline with
a¢ademic year seasonal fluctuatioiis. A working party of trustces are introduring further iiiiprovem¢nt5
to th¢ policies and procedures of ihe charity including the introduction of a di¥it81 platfomi for sharing
and acc¢sbing data and records.
