about the charity and its Trustees and thts art￿ appears in every issue ofthe local Parish Magazine. The
Secretary also provided a very detailed 5-page artick which appeared in the April 2024 Parish Magazine to
ensure that the Community is inf(Ymed at#)ut the a¢tivÉties of the Chartty arKI some of the applutK)ns it has
fvnded. In July 2024, the Secretsry also providgj an artth for this magazine giving infomation at()ut the
Young Persons, Grants and Hardship Grnnts. The Chartty uses ILxal Parish noticeboards to inforrn residents
the local community. The Trustees are committed to publi¢4sin9 the aims. wcrt* and outcomes of the Charity's
funding and this increased commstment has led to more contacts and queries regarding potential fvnding bids.
The Trustees are aws b>)king for new ws to ￿l(￿Se thB.
9. The Trustees, general principles on Ihey operate in making distributions from the Charity include
favouring those cases that benefft the ￿Mmunity as a whole {or large sections of it) and invO￿e a contribution
(either fmnetary, time or exteftise) from the apPI￿nt but these basic pnn* are teing devdowl and
adapted in light of experience. The Trustees are seeking to improve. dtxument and make MO￿ transparent
the operatfftg principth ofthe Charity.
We revised and upjated all the Charity's wlicies. proCedU￿S and appli¢akn fCffl￿ in November 2023 and
keep them under regular review. Over the next 18 rronths there wll be qutte a fw new Trustees and the
Secretary and Chair have been busy drawlng up duties and re$F￿*bilitIeS associated vrith their roth to help
promote s￿￿th transitions. General background information for new Trustees have also been written to help
them grasp the history and ethos of the CRCF chanty. All prcK%dures and p)licies wll be reviewed in June
Applications for funding of £400 or less ffoy. providing all Trustees agree, be considered in betI￿n meetings.
The Tnjstees aim to hold regular temity rrEetings at which to consider any appltcations submrtted to them at
least w*ks prevK)usty. Notice of n￿trAgS are wherever Frf)sSIb￿ p¥Jsted in the Parish Magazine and on
the Charity's F￿c￿)k page. The Charity's tneetings are held in the CraC￿e ViHage Hall.
10. The Trustees, current reseprfes is ffode up of the fo5kM?ng strands:
{ii) to meet any major longer-term requirements that may crop up in the area of benefit over fvture years.
b. The number and value of grants applEd for is huhty variable. The level of reserves that the Charity needs
is therefore difficult to quantsfy with any degree of accuracy. The fundtng ofthe Chartty appears to be
secured for a fvrther decade and the Trustees feel rt ts proper and reasonable to o)nsider a longer time-
frame within which the Charity can continue to tenefft the communty including a caprtal reserve to yield a
future tncome. However, the Tn￿tee5 9eneralty feel that ￿$h rese￿￿ shoukl cg)ver at least the gross
equivalent of one yearfs annual payment from Tarmac Limrted plus the provision at the year end to meet
any outstanding commitments.
¢. The Trustees will monrtor the currentty reserves p)lry and will afi￿nd it in the Swht 0feXF>erien￿.
11. This has been the Trusiees. fourteenth fvll year ofoperations during whth they have made further distributions
