AS SUCH WE WERE UNABLE TO ISSUE SOME GRANT FUNDS TO NOMINATED CAUSES DUE TO DELAYS TO THEIR APPLICATION SYSTEMS. HOWEVER WE WERE PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO ALLOCATE MANY OF THE OUTSTANDING GRANTS. IT WAS ONCE AGAIN AGREED TO HOLD ANY UNALLOCATED GRANT FUNDS UNTIL THE NOMINATED CAUSES CONCLUDED THEIR APPLICATION PROCESS. THE GRANTS HAVE BEEN USED TO BUY VITAL MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, TRAINING OF SPECIALIST NURSING STAFF, WARD DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICE DEVELOPMENT IN THE COMMUNITY.
