Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year The peTi(xI cover1 by this report is 1" May 2024 to 30 April 2025 which represents Poynton and District RoundTable's finanaal I charitsble year. Poynton Bomlre and Fireworks - 2nd November 2024 We held the event as we always have on the nearest Saturday to 5th November. Despite a small decline in revenue for the event from prior years Iwhith was mainty due to a different mix of ticket sales) it was another hugety successfrjl event. Since moving to purely online sales for tickets it has revclutionised the event Reducing upfront admin on prinb'ng tickets and getting sales updates, massively reducing the (2sh on site and the risk associated with handling large amounts of cash. il modemised the gate enty to allow fast llowing enty to site. Finally it also offers a level of understanding on likely profft before the event allowing us to plan inventory levels required for bar5. GcAng forward. we 711 continu8 to look at vRys of m(MJemising th8 8vent to seek out further gains. Our realised net profft from the event was £37,997J3 Santa Rounds - December 2024 Donations for the Santa round 2024 totalled £1.181. This is a 420/. decrease from prior year. This on top of a number of increased costs for things such as sleigh maintenance is getting close to making the Sants rounds unsustainable. There are a number of key factors to (%SIder. The event is heavity reliant on volunteers and time from members. Before this year we have been facing declining membership numbers. Due to charvJing membership numbers, we have slimlined the fonnat to make resource requirements easier to meet. This fOrnt introduced designated stopping t)olnts on a route" a fomat Macclesfield round table uses and works very successfully for them. To be able to tow the sleigh we require a driver with a towbar. In recent years we have lost members who have experience towing making it harder to be able to do a round. Minus expenses the total amount of money to be P fOard to charitable donations came to £339.36. A decision and vots shwkl be considered in thè upcoming accounting perbod as to the viabiltty of the santa rounds.
