partner organisations Ihrough wsits from our Minislry Tgarn Ltrader.

challenges presented by our Ministy T•am Leader lakino a Sabba1￿￿1 brtr8k.
Financial rev*w
ilst the ch￿￿h,9 regular gNing saw a de¢xea$¢ during thtr y•ar its overall in¢oTh incrè8s$d by jusl under
1.5%. In many ways, 2023 was 8 more notTnal year in resw¢t of finandal actNity as there no18gaaes
receiv8d and neitherwas there a specific grfl day. In vi&v4 of this ￿ are encouraged by th• small increase in
incomè. Offset against this is the increas• IA èxpertdttu￿. Our regular exp0ns¥s increased by just under6%
mafnly due lo Ihe increase in onèrgy costs and some signthcant maintenance required in respect of
roof repairs and hgating re￿irS. Additionalty. upgr3ded Ih8win¢Jows in the main worship hall thrir¥J the
year funding thi% from reserves.
Despite th8 economic ¢lTrmate the church continued to support several third paty ￿USe$ ￿th 8 signfficant
amDunt sent to BMS Wofld Mission, Beth85da, the Indian Ofphanage charity thal the churth supports,
Dignity and the Puwe Communrty Fund IPCFI and funds sent to SUPFXYt FRJmanitarian efforts in areas of
the wodd suff*ing frcffj both natural disasters and confiict hotspots. Our finsncia supwi to good
caLsses ¥nd missionary both in tIMs country and totaied £18.559 for the yeAr.

Th¢ Truslees cc*)sider that the levd of free reserves required by the church should be held al
minimum of£71,700. This is detemined from an assessment by the Trustees Lrfthe most
significant financial risks that the church laces, their size and likelihood of cc*ning to fwition.
