Solotan - REVIEW OF THE YEAR 2023 I. CHURCH MEMBERS WELFARE: 2023 has boen a year of great mercies of God upon the entire family of God at the Ambassadors Outreaches. There were a number of health challenges amongst family members in the Church but out of them all, the Lord delivers them. A number of charity activities went to members of the Church in the Year under review particularly to new members who arrived from overseas in the year. 2. FAMILY & MARRIAGES.. We thank God for upholding every family and marriages in the ministry. Two new families joined the Church in the year and God blessed another family In the Church with a healthy baby girl, to God alone be all the glory for the save delivery and post-delivery good health for mother and child. The year 2023 has been a year of increase for the church numerically and splritually. 3. YOUTHS PROGRESS.. We thank God for the good SLsccess of all our youths in the year 2023. Out of the five youths from the Church currently pursuing undergraduate courses in the University, one has successfully completed her degree in Pharmacolo8y, and another is set to finish in the new year with a job offer already,. what a good God we have. Two of our vouths successfully completed their masterfs degree in the course of the year. 4. MINISTRIE5 AND OUTREACH PROGRAMMES: As in previous years, we endeavour bythe grace of God to offer all the outreach programmes of the ministry in the year successftjlly to the glory of God with the exception of the Christm35 family banquet which was replaced bv In-house and community outreach on the Ioih 17ih and 24th December championed by the youths. For the second Year runningj the Eyes, Ears, Hand5 & Feet of Jesus global outreach programme (social gospel outreach) started last year, continued this year by ministering to the physical needs of twenty widows and widowers Icompared to ten widows in 20221 in the Owowo communlty of the Ifo-ota Local Government area of Ogun state, Nigerla. Food stuffs including. Rice, Semollna, Oil and a cash gift of five thousand Naira was given to each widow. A young female student by the name Ibukunola Kuye with no father Identified last year as qualified for academic support and sponsorship gained admission to one of the Polytechnlcs in Ogun state, Nigeria, where she is pursuing a natlonal diploma course in Laboratory technology. She is being supported with the payment of her tuition fee and course materials, The funding of this outreach was not from the Church fund, but generous people joined us to separately lund this outreach. The receiving people in the community were very grateful to God and the ministry for the showlng of the love of God to them for the second year running especially at such 2 tlme of growing despair and economic challenge. Also, our outreach to the local Food Bank is being carrled on. 5. MAIN EXPENDITURES..
In light of the increase to the annual cost of leasing the facllity that the minlstry uses coupled with signlficant Increase to the utllity cost, l am proposiftg that we start looking for a bulldlng that we Can buy for the ministry provided our banlcers can arrange a mortgage for funding the purchase. Our current lease has a break clause after two years, and it is this break clause, that13m suggesting that we work towards for the swltch. We would need the concerted effort of the trustee and members in sourcing the building and in funding the purchase should we need addltional fund. I see a lot of beneflt to Us in buylng our own facility at this point which will include, more rooms to take care of the ministry to different age groups in the ChLJrch,' a better control of utility bills which I believe our current landlords are not being fair in their charges and mDSt certainly, an opportunity to have a place that can be opened up for more community access and usage, not forgettlng that such a purchase would be an appreciating capital asset for the ministry. I can also report that by the grace of Gotl, the ministry continues to meet its finzncial obligations, thanks to the faithfulness of the members of the ministry that regularly supports the work through their generous contributions. We have some outstanding bills covering utility bills and add-ons from the Landlord for this last quarter of the Year 2023; arrangements are being made to pay off these bill5. 6. 2024 PROGRAMMES.. The ministry will be celebrating twenty years of existence and outreaches in July 2024. We hope to make it 3 memorable event to 311 beneficiarie5 of this ministry and it is hope that on or before the dates, an ordir¢3tion of Pastors and Deamns will be a hiEhlight. We continue to hope and pray that we would become strong to plant other Churches in the nation and overseas as God makes ways for Lts. All our current programmes will be continued in the coming year. 7. APPRECIATION.. Finally, we are using this medium to express our appreciation to all our volunteers, workers, minister5 and all who continues to help move this mission on. Once again. we pray that the Year 2024 will be a year of great grace, great mercies and great help. We pray that it will be a year of God's multiple wonders and wonderful work in Jesus mighty name.
