Preston Mela Trust is a South asian Fair organised annually on Avenham Park Preston. Between 8,000 to 9,000 people attend this family Event which showcases Soth Asian culrture in all itsforms from food and fashion to music and entertainment. It promotes community cohesion and good relations between all People of Preston and surrounding areas.
Objects: The Trustees Shall Hold The Trust Fund And Its Income Upon Trust To Applythem For The Following Objects ("the Objects") In Lancashire (hereinafterreferred To As "the Area Of Benefit"):-(a) To Advance The Education Of The Public Within The Area Of Benefitprimarily But Not Exclusively In The Arts And Culture Of South Asiancountries, By Whatever Charitable Means The Trustees Think Fit.(b) The Preservation And Protection Of Good Mental And Physical Health,primarily But Not Exclusively Through The Provision Of Arts-Basedworkshops.
