In 2025 AWC UK continued its upward momentum. Once again. a new revenue record was set including
donations, event incoFne. legacies and grfl-a￿. irKreasing 30% on the previous year to finish at £641.000.
At the end ol year exchange rale thig tranthted to revenue of M1.28 million.
One of the yearfs standout mcKnents from 2025 was our Btg Give m8t¢he(l-fvnding campatgn week in
April, which mobilised supporters across the UK to protect vital KoaL8 habitat al Waulinbakh Wldlife
Sanctuary in New SoLth Walos. ￿er the ¢ouw ofthè V**ok, raised more than £110.000 to support
on ground conservation Work, v￿h contributions coming from both online giving and caMpa￿Th events,
and matched fuThJing amplfying the overall impact.
A highlight ofthe campaKJn Week was the Koala Gala fiJrthiser- a Spec￿lar black-tie dlnner hosted
by our dedicated A￿c UK Fundraising Commrttee- brought together our dedicated 3UPPOrte
and new fn"end8. Followng the success of the inaugural Koala Gala in 2024 the 8oar(I decid8(t lo run the
event for the Se￿nd time and ortt again trkets sokj out rapklty ¥￿h 274 guests atter￿l￿g. The decision
to move the event to Merchant Taylorfs Hall proved to be 8 goo(J one allwn9 for extra guests and a
more spacious envlronment. I V•tJukl like to offer a huge thanks to our AWC UK Fundraising Committee
which included- Edward Hoddkn, Jllllan Bagnall, Jam18 ￿n10p, Amy D￿sOn, Dlana Dunlop, William
Vvrighl and lo our Board momber Louw M￿1•Y c￿￿￿18rable e¥wt wJani$ing
prowded invaluabk Board oversight.
We also repeated our other tsgship event- Break Point- has fast be¢onE an establishod
highlight amongst the cwate ￿MMUnty antj ￿m￿"n*$ a fun competilj'on wth charitabl¥ givin9. A$
Podel continuos to grow in popularty. our Board Director, Adam Hain and hi8 Macquarie Caprtal
colleagues. have done a remarkable job lo caplure th18 space for the purposes of fund raiwng for OUT
ofganisatKJn. Break Point11 saw staff and clK*nts face off in Spiritsd matche8 for pad81 glory on the courts
in Canary Wharf, cheered on by S￿*1 guests Kathy Lette and CaiUNI Wts)d.
This event raised rn￿e Ihan £252,000, bringing the FOUndat￿n.5 total ￿ntribut￿ft to ¢)ver £615,000
across three years. Our Sincere Ihanks go to Macquarie Caprtal. ihe Macquarie Grtyjp FoundatK)n, and
AWC UK'S Trustee Atlam Hain, whose *adefship and support made this event p)sslble. The event was
¢ommemwate(1 wth a beautsfvlty ¢Jesigned t)ook filled vAth photos of the event and captivating ￿'ctL$res
and Infomathon highlighting AWC projects whrch V•ere to the attending organisab"ons.
Followng the launch of AWC'S 1Wr strategic in August. our Head of DeVelop￿￿nt, Lvzzy Crotty,
had the opportunty to discuss AWC'$ long tem) ViSK)n wth our Global Ambassador. Sir David
Attenborough, and later wth our Royal Patron, His Majesty The King. Both ¢onver$8titin8 We￿ marked
by strong engagement ￿th the breadth of AWC'S ambitions. including our goal to expand our
conservation reach and increase ￿r impact across up to 5% of the Australian continent.
AWC'S conservation efforts are increasingty being recognised intemationally Lizzy ￿presented AWC at
the Glob81 Rewlijing FUtU￿S Summit In Cambndge, hvJhlighbng how suslained investment in places like
Mount Gibson Wldlrfe SancbJary has enabled the restoral￿n of tsn lo¢ally extinct Ind threatened ¥ptr¢ie
over the past decade.

Review of Business
The resutts forthe year and finawal posrtion of the ￿MP￿Y are as shth￿ m the annexed financial

Ir￿mIng resources exceeded expended resour￿$ by £89.1421£393 in 2024). The higher profil for the
year, compared to the lower profft in 2024. is mainty due to inerèased unrestricted donabons, %thich ar
retained in the charity to Cover the Costs. The revenue is up by 29.7% 10 £640.993 {£494,127 in 2024}
offset by expendrture increase by 11.8% to £551.851 1£493,734 in 20241.
The 2025 revenue includes donab"ons. event irwme. gtft-atd recovery. legacies and interest The
donab.ons have risen this year to a record £423.541. an increase of £102.692124.3%1 ¢ompared to 2024.
This in¢Jease derives mainty from large events and a matching Gampaign. Desprte the in(*ease in
donat¢ons, the 2025 gift-aid recovery1£25.783) was lo¥M o)mpared to 2024 {£28.9351. This is the result
of some donations being nor￿lIgible for grfl-aid.
Event income is up by 46.6% from £35.013 to £51.335. This is marfy due to higher trket sales for the
2025 Koala Gala event.
Interest rose from £6,638 to £7.643115.1 %), predominatetrjf re)lects a mtxture of more ca$h held
and pla¢tng it in fixed temi deposits throughoLrt 2025.
Totsl resources expended increased from 2024 to 2025 by 11.8% from £493,734 to £551.851. This is
mainty dL5e lo a higher grant of £425.8871£386,171 in 20241 lo Australian Wildlrfe Conservancy. vthich is
the result of the increased receNed restricted th)nth"ons. The grants are decided by the Board and is
based on incoming donations for the 12 month's peri￿ from the 1st November to 31st October the
follwng year. The grants %%ere directed to three dffierent projects in Australia. vthich are the
ccfflprehensive Ecohea]th suThey and rnonrtoring program" the Waulinbakh Wildlrfe Sanctuary; and the
sanctuary acquiS￿On projecl focuse(l on i(lenbfyirvJ and securing ecologThlly %gnfficant srtes across
