the COVID years. This demonstrated at the headline level by a record year of donation8 amounting

number of bespoke, tsrgeted events wlzed by Lizzy to fijrther expand our into new target
Segment and raise our profile in the UK.
Another high1￿ht was the opportunlty for Ltw to meet wth global ambassador Sir Damd
Attenborough at his home. Sir David was glfted a painting from AborYdino1 ArU¥t, Alice Nampljlnpa

Another exdting development in 2022 Yras a brand identsty unvelled by Alhc lo refiect its tranimlo
lo a global leador in conservation. In line with thi$ thange and to supwt the pdorill8s of AWC becoming
Intemalionally recognised as a leader in this space, Friends of Australian Wlldlife conservan￿ UK was
rebranded lo Australian Wildlrfe Conservancy UK {AWC UK}. Th¢s new brand idenlty and as*'mllation
Is part of a tffjader markellng strategy that is rapid￿ bulkling profi￿ for globally.
The m08t important Indlcator of our progress in 2022 htrlmer was that we able to Y•tlcom• thr
Ixceptional now Directors to join the AK UK Board. These are Jo Sawickn., Adam Hain lappoinled from
January 20231 and Louise Mulley lapFointed from January 20231 whose profiles appear on our websits.

compared to the smaller loss in 2021 ts mainty due to revenuè being up by 40% to É176,5601£126,134 In

The 2022 Tevenue includes donats'ons. gfft-aid recovery, event Income and intere51. Compared with 2021,
the lotsl donations are up by 31.8% from £114.342 to £150,731. In￿ased donations resulted In rising
grft•aid recovery. wh￿h are up by 36.5% frc*n £8,241 to £11.251. The 2022 event incomo increased from
£1,53B 10 £14.486. There vrn8 no gpon8wshlp in 2022.
Total r•8our¢e$ expended inmsed from 2￿1 to 2022 by 29.2%. This l¥ mainty b￿auSe ol a higher
Grant of £91,883 {£S7.583 In 20211 to Australian Wlkjlrfe Conservancy. The rise in grant is due lo tho
increase in received donations. The Grnnt is d￿lded by the Boord and Is based on incoming donats'on$
for Ihe period 1•t November to 31¥ October the following year. It * agreed by indlvldual donor8 to exclude
certaln dOnatity￿ from the GAnt to covw ￿￿T• running Costs.

examinolion is needed. Having satisfied myself that the charity is not 8ubjecl to audrt under company law
