**Objects:** (A) TO SUPPORT SPORTING GOOD CAUSES OF WHATEVER KIND INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATIONMAKING FUNDS AND/OR EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND IMPROVE THEGENERAL WELFARE OF SUCH DESERVING POOR AND NECESSITOUS PERSONS (AND THEIRDEPENDANTS) INJURED OR KILLED AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION OR ASSISTANCE IN SPORT;(B) TO FURTHER, ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVE SPORTS BY PERSONS WHOBY REASONS OF THEIR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR DISABILITY WOULD NOTOTHERWISE BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVE SPORTS AND TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENTOF SUCH PERSONS IN ACTIVE SPORTS BY PROVIDING FUNDS AND/OR FACILITIES FOR A WIDERANGE OF SPORTING ACTIVITIES;(C) TO, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PERSONS,MAKE FUNDS AVAILABLE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AT BRITISH UNIVERSITIES AND/ ORCOLLEGES TO UNDERGRADUATES OF OUTSTANDING SPORTING ABILITY WHO BY REASON OFTHEIR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES WOULD BENEFIT FROM SUCH FINANCIALASSISTANCE;(D) IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE TO PROVIDE FUNDS OR TO ORGANISE OR PROVIDE (ORASSIST IN THE ORGANISATION OR PROVISION OF) FACILITIES OR EQUIPMENT FOR HEALTHYRECREATION THROUGH ACTIVE SPORT (WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OFLIFE FOR THE PERSONS FOR WHOM THE SAME ARE PROVIDED) FOR PERSONS WHO BYREASON OF THEIR YOUTH OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES OR DISABILITY HAVENEED OF SUCH FUNDS OR FACILITIES; AND(E) TO COMMEMORATE UNACKNOWLEDGED SPORTING ACHIEVEMENT IN THE INTERESTS OF THEABOVE OBJECTS.
