To advance the education<br>and health of those orphans, by providing<br>funding for their education, further<br>education, a healthy and sustaining diet<br>and their medical fees. To advance the<br>Christian religion in Nepal for the benefit of<br>the public through the provision of places of<br>worship and help for those in church<br>ministry.|
|Summary of the main<br>activities in relation to those<br>purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the<br>activities, projects or<br>services identified in the<br>accounts.|Para 1.17 and<br>1.19|During the year the charity continued to<br>send quarterly payments of money to the<br>Hope for Children Hostel (HCH) and Trinity<br>Hostel (TH) to pay for the accommodation,<br>food, educational and health needs of the<br>children.<br>Financially we managed to maintain our<br>regular payments sending £9,880 to the<br>HCH and £11,700 to the TH in 2022/23.<br>There have been special fund-raising<br>efforts with a Christmas Appeal in Harwood<br>raising £1,000 and a sponsored Camino<br>Walk raising £2,000.<br>In April, the Chairman visited both Hostels<br>in Nepal and was able to establish that they<br>continue to provide safe and well-run<br>environments for the children. He<br>discovered that toilets previously provided<br>by the charity for refugees associated with<br>a church in Hetauda, which we support,<br>needed repair and additions. An appeal<br>raised £6785 to pay for this.|

## **Financial Review**
