Main Activities- Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document Operation of an Educational Sponsorship Scheme to support students in their education at primary, secondary & tertiary level. Financial Support to the Ifunda Mission Vocational Training. Centre to ensure it continues to provide facilities fit for purpose. Financial support to Ifunda schools; Ihemi, Kibaoni, Ifunda, Masumbo & Isupilo primary schools & Lyandembela Secondary school. (to provide teaching aids and fund improvements to school facilities for the benefit of all students at the schools, not only students sponsored by the Charity) Financial Support to ICTC (tuition provision) who provide additional tuition for primary and secondary students to improve perfonnance and results in national exams. Project work - financial support for local initiatives identified by the charity in line with the objects of the charity as set out in its constttution. Walserfs Tanzania Charity operates entirely with voluntary staff in the UK for administration, fundraising and participation in annual visits. These Charity volunteers plus volunteer partners in Republic of Ireland & Gennany allow the Charity to operate with minimum costs. Section D Achievements and performance A minimum of one charity visit to Ifunda is undertaken each year by Trustees and other chosen volunteers to monitor the progress of charity activities.
