Waws Tanzania Charity operates entirely with voluntary staff in the UK
for administralion. furKlraisiro and participation in annual visits. These
Charity volunteers plus volunteer partners in Republic of Ireland &
Ge￿nanY allow the Charity to operate with minimurn costs. We are
extremely grateful to our volunteers for their Valuab￿ contribulion.

achievements of the charity
during the year
A minimum of one chartty visit to Ifunda is undertaken each year by
Trustees and other ¢hosen vdunteers to monitor the Fyogress of chartty
Due to the Covtd-19 pandemic and travel restrtctions there was no tharity
visit in 2021. The charity continued additional monitoring to ensure the
educational sponsorship scheme continued to run smoothly. Close
communication with the charTty contacts in Ifunda ensured that the thartty
were kept fulty up to date with activities and any issues arising with the
Educational Sponsorship S￿￿rne vrc. ICTC and the hostel.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2022. 

**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
